St
James’ is a family friendly church where children are welcomed
and valued. There is a children’s corner in the church
for the ‘littlest’ members of the church when they feel like a
bit more space to move around. This is a carpeted space with
toys and a small table & chairs with paper, crayons etc

Then there is Sunday Club for children aged around three
and up. Children leave with their leaders after the first part
of the Sunday service which is designed with all ages in mind.
They then have their own fun session in the vestry (until the
new meeting room is available)
with stories, games, craft & other activities.

|
Once a month, on the 4th Sunday, there is a Family
Service which is more interactive and is designed for all
ages to come and worship together.

‘Pyramid Rock’ followed
the adventures of Joseph in Egypt. Children took part in stories, drama, craft, games, songs and
loads of fun!
Christmas 2006 we held a 'Christmas Crackers' fun afternoon. |
